Copper Beech Bowl

This copper beech bowl was supplied through NC at Call Cal and shaped using an off balance turning method that gives it a sculptural presence. The rim flows in a gentle wave and the grain shifts and moves across the form, creating natural visual interest from every angle.

The wood has a smooth silky feel that makes it incredibly tactile. The grain patterns deepen as the light moves across the surface and the wavy edge adds a quiet sense of movement. It works beautifully as a centrepiece or as a modern decorative piece that invites people to pick it up and explore the details.

Finished with Chestnut cellulose sanding sealer and Chestnut Microcrystalline Wax, the surface is smooth, durable and fully food and toy safe.
